LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understand how ambulatory pediatric practices obtained PPE, trained staff on PPE usage, and responded to PPE barriers (shortages, response)
- Recognize strategies used to enhance ventilation in the ambulatory pediatric office
- Understand how ambulatory pediatric practices utilized office spaces to enhance patient safety during the pandemic
FACULTY
Leigh Bragg, MD
Dr. Bragg owns a private pediatric practice in South Carolina and is currently board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease. She graduated from the University of South Carolina-School of Medicine and completed her Pediatrics Residency at Greenville Health System. Dr. Bragg completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Disease at the University of Florida- Jacksonville. She is also a medical consultant for South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
Richard Martinello, MD
Medical Director of Infection Prevention
Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale New Haven Health System
Dr. Martinello is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Yale School of Medicine. He is board certified in adult and pediatric infectious diseases and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and fellowships in adult and pediatric infectious diseases and healthcare epidemiology at Yale.
